NAKS
EAST VILLAGE, NEW YORK, NY | 1300 SQ. FT. | SEATS 47
Naks is a contemporary Filipino restaurant in New York’s East Village offering two distinct dining experiences. Up front, a casual bar and à la carte area features natural wood, woven textures, and soft lighting—creating a warm, relaxed space for walk-ins and informal meals.
In the back, the Kamayan Room offers a fixed-price, multi-course meal rooted in the Filipino tradition of kamayan—communal dining with food shared by hand, often served on banana leaves. Inspired by the tropical warmth of the Philippines, the room uses bamboo, capiz, hardwoods, greenery, and ambient lighting to create an intimate, elevated setting. Larger communal tables encourage connection and shared experience.
