After designing the highly successful Mint in Manhattan, Wid Chapman Architects was asked to create a larger, ground-up Mint for Garden City, New York. To complement the restaurant's Indian cuisine, the firm was charged with creating a colorful, bejeweled series of environments. These include a lounge/bar, main dining room, private wine room, and a large open-air rooftop lounge, bar, and grill for seasonal parties.
